Project
The Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh is a specialist paediatric healthcare facility serving Scotland’s central belt and beyond. The hospital forms part of a wider healthcare campus providing acute and specialist clinical services.

The building is a critical healthcare environment designed to support a full range of children’s medical services, treatment areas and associated clinical support facilities.

Works Carried Out
• Complete mechanical services package for the conversion of the historic Old Sick Kids Hospital into high-end residential apartments.
• Full plant room installations and commissioning.
• Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) installation.
• Installation of heating risers and distribution pipework throughout the development.
• Heat Interface Unit (HIU) installations serving individual apartments.
• Full mechanical services installation from first fix through to final commissioning and handover.
• Management and coordination of insulation, dry riser and BMS controls packages within our contract scope.
